Cleveland or Los Angeles: MORE likely to lose??

B.YONEST “Sports” NEWZ: 1 vs 8. Both in a 2-1 Series right Now.. Worried?

Cleveland was down by 25 at one point yesterday in Chicago. The Lakers went to Oklahoma City and took their first “L” in the 2010 NBA Playoffs. Who is more likely to lose in the 1st round. The Lakers to the Thunder or The Cavs to the Bulls? Yeah, I say neither will lose either, but it makes for great blogging/conversation right? What the hell would you people do if The Cleveland Cavs lost to the Bulls in the 1st round? Yeah, me too. The Lakers and The Cavs better get this figured out before Kevin Durant and/or Derrick Rose “ends” everyone’s Championship hopes. I’m just sayin’

Let’s talk LeBron

B.YONEST “Sports” NEWZ: Seriously, people. I’m not bias. Dude’s Dope

“If I wanted to. Like if I really put my mind to it and felt like it, I could win the scoring title every year. EVERY year. It’s just not that important to me.”

Some people hear LeBron James say that and think he’s being arrogant and cocky (which may be partly true). The fact is this; IF LeBron decided to win the scoring title and MVP for the next decade, he could. No question about it. Think about it, humans and aliens.

Dude busted for 40 points, 8 assists and 8 rebounds. If he genuinely applied himself,  he could probably average a triple-double. Yep I said it. Take his 8 assists and make them three and give him the additional poinnts and LeBron would’ve had 50. Given the FACT that he has @ least 7 assists/game, that’s another 14 points (at least) he’s attributing to. Therefore, LeBron could average 43 points/game if he felt like it.?!! Scary thought, huh?  I love “Let’s Talk LeBron,” time.

Cavaliers Clinch Eastern Conference

B.YONEST “Sports” NEWZ: LeBronValiers are the BEST. Questions?

Last night, The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated The Atlanta Hawks (for the 8th straight time) and clinched the Eastern Conference. They successfully reached 60 games (with six games to go) LeBron continued his progress towards a perfect season. Steals, blocks, points, rebounds, charisma and charm are a few of the delightful items LeBron brings (not only to the basketball court, but) the City of Cleveland night in and night out. Is he leaving Cleveland?

I would all, but guarantee LeBron isn’t going anywhere. Kobe will remain a Laker forever. Reggie stayed with The Pacers. Magic and Larry remained in Los Angeles and Boston, forever. I think if LeBron wants to be considered one of the greats he needs to stay in Cleveland for his career. Did it blemish Charles Barkley or Shaquille O’neal; definitely not, but Michael Jordan didn’t remain with the Chicago Bulls forever, but I GUARANTEE he would’ve like to end there. Phil Jackson, a Championship, fading off into the sunset. Think about it Mr. James.

LeBron James vs Michael Jordan: There is NO Comparison

B.YONEST “Sportz” NEWZ: LeBron is the greatest! EVER!

I don’t want to waste anymore time comparing LeBron James to anyone in the NBA, today. LeBron James is the greatest basketball player to breathe since, well sense. I’m not attempting to be bias either. I’m not from here and as most of you know, I’m a die hard Pacer fan. With that said, the man is simply NBA Basketball; Amazing.

He toys with a triple-double EVERY GAME. If he deemed it necessary to exert himself more, he would definitely average (at least) a triple-double, maybe a quadruple-double. Yeah, I said. MVP. MVP. MVP. Will he leave Cleveland? Time will tell, but I don’t think so. LeBron is building himself quite the dynasty over up there by Lake Erie. I must say, Miami is a hell of a city though.

B.YONEST “Sports” NEWZ: LeBron vs Kobe?

B.YONEST NEWZ.. Is the torch passed OR does LeBron have to win?

Remember the days of Magic Johnson battling Larry Bird for league Supremacy. Remember when Michael Jordan was working diligently to take the NBA over as his personal place to embarrass people? There was a period of time (after Jordan’s retirement) that left us wondering who’s game it was. Kobe Bryant going to take the crown? Are we going to be stuck in a Post-Jordan funk for the next 20 years of basketball? Do we really have to call Tim Duncan the face of basketball in the late 90’s to the early 2000’s? I DONT think so. Either way, the rivalry for leaue supremacy is BACK. Kobe Bryant vs LeBron James.

Kobe definitely deserves to stake the game as his still. The man has four rings, Phil Jackson as a coach and he can still take a game over (at any second.) LeBron is ringless. That is a FACT. That may just be the fact we need to decide this friendly competition. Kobe has four and LeBron has zero. I still believe the game is transitioning to LeBron’s side though. The man is a monster out there. I don’t know. Maybe it’s because I reside in Ohio. It (also) may be because homie averages damn near a triple double, has the City of Cleveland begging for him to stay and he’s 25. I’m just sayin.

Who do YOU think the crown belongs to in the NBA? Kobe? LeBron? D-Wade? Carmelo? Kevin Durant (who has scored 25 points in the last 20 games). Whoever you claim the game belongs to is somewhat irrelevant. The fact of the matter is the NBA is back and I don’t see it falling off to another Post-Kobe era anytime soon.

B.YONEST “Sports” NEWZ: LeBron outlasts Kobe AGAIN

B.YONEST NEWZ.. The Cavs beat the Lakers in Cleveland for SWEEP!

Mo Williams is injured for the next 4 to 6 weeks with a sprained shoulder. The Cleveland Cavaliers are in 1st place in the Eastern Conference and a win against the Los Angeles Lakers tonight would give them a sweep of the season series and a nice opportunity to place themselves in the drivers seat for home court supremacy. Tonight, they did just that on their home court. Lebron led the Cavs with 37 points (the last 12 in the fourth quarter) to a 93-87 win. That’s all I got. LeBron’s the best. Kobe is really good, but the torch is being passed. Uhhhhhh. MVP.. MVP!!

B.YONEST “Sports” NEWZ: Is Shaquille helping OR hurting?

B.YONEST NEWZ.. Shaq may not be the fit. Cavs still one player short…

The Cleveland Cavaliers are still trying to figure things out. They have a 15-7 record and have lost two in a row. It seems they are “missing” something. A gear, a certain amount of swagger or maybe a player. I visualize them playing the Los Angeles Lakers or the Boston Celtics and I see a blowout. Stephen Jackson is off the board now. That’s the man they needed. As the rest of the teams get better, the Cavs seem to be standing in the mud. I mean sure they beat the Pacers, but we ALL know the Cavs are a “Championship” of failure team. They better get it together and FAST.
