B.YONEST NEWZ: GROWTH CURVE in OCT is ASTRONOMICAL for THE BYONESTINVAZION.com!!!

For those of you following along at home…THE BYONESTINVAZION.com blog is gaining traction as a FULL BLOWN ENTERTAINMENT DATABASE complete with MUZIK, SPORTS, and ENTERTAINMENT NEWZ and APPERantly a lot of READERS AND VIEWERS!!!

If you remember from the growth curve update from last month, (click here) we finished September with 25,610 views for the month.  This continued us on our gradual curve.  We have been very happy with this!  We decided that 27,000 would be a great goal for October.  This equates to 875 views/hitz a day.  WOW!!!

Well we didnt do 875 views a day, we D.I.D. 1,174 views A DAY.  SO we blew past  our goal of 27,000 and ended up with 32,398 views/hitz for the month of OCTOBER.

LETZ BYONEST this is a bit scary – this sets the bar very high, much higher then we wanted, we would have been happy with something close to 27,000. Now in order to keep our growth curve continuing in a upward trend we have to do over 1,200 views a day…for the month of DEC…keep you posted…

FYI:  15,000 is a baseline number when advertisers begin looking at your site as a place that it may make sense to begin advertising.

B.YONEST has a QUESTION: WHO’S TO BLAME for LACK OF MUSIC SALES??

I’m asked that fatal question at least 10 times per week. Who is responsible (or to blame) for the lack of album sales? Is it the Internet? Is is the Record Labels giving less money for marketing? Is it producers deciding their beats and sounds are worth 150,000 dollars per track? Who is RESPONSIBLE for leaking songs 2 months before they are due to release? Someone in Eminem’s camp “stole” some songs, released them on the Internet and leaked ’em early. It happens to ALMOST every artist in today’s Industry. If you’re an Independent Artist the chances are lesser, but you’re records not going to get any radio, television or mainstream love if you Independent anyway. Thus, who is to blam for album sales being @ their ALL-TIME low? we ALL ARE..

Basically what happened was this….. Record labels thought puttin one hit on an album was cool. Singles were diminshing from the shelves of Circuit City, Media Play and Meijer’s across the world. Most artists only have one or two GREAT records on an album and lables were making an excrutiating amount of money shooting one video, releasing one song and selling MILLIONS of copies. Fortunately (depending on who’s side of the fence you’re on here), the market smartened up. They refused to pay 15 dollars for two good songs. Albums sales began to diminish by the second, Itunes came out and began to sale “singles” again, record labels began to leak songs hoping it would entice album sales… NOW, we’re here; stuck in an uphill battle between artist, comsumer and label owner. UH OH!

The next question is how do we fix such a juncture? First and foremost, artists need to STOP GIVING MUSIC away for free. You people are eroding the concept and principle of creative expression. If we continue to GIVE IT AWAY, the consumers will continue to REACT as if it SHOULD BE FREE. We are just as much to blame as the consumer is. Imagine if we all went on strike until we got paid what we righfully deserve? NO MUSIC? Producers, stop being ridiculous with the cost of your creation. We all understand you’re the most AMAZING people in the world, but you may miss an extremely talented artist because he/she/they didn’t have 200,000 dollars for production. Seems poiintless to me.

Every form of Entertainment seems to continue striving forward as the Music Industry worsens by the millisecond. More and more “acts” keep surging from the nooks and crannies of every city, metropolis and town, WORLDWIDE. Until someone figures out how to prosper (which really means we all need to finally come together.. artist, promoters, producers, label owners, a&r’s, etc) again, it’s going to continue to get worse waaaaaay before it’s get’s better. Hold on and enjoy the ride, people! AL HAIL!!

200 FANZ on FACEBOOK!!!  and continued fanz after 200!!!

One thing we have realized traveling the country, performing, networking, passing out CD’s  and connecting with FANZ is that the social media sites have POWER.  The power to pass information SO MUCH FASTER then we ever could driving around and passing out music.

We are often asked, “what can I do to HELP make B.YONEST FAMOUS?”

With the Power of Facebook we decided to start a campaign entitled “FAMOUS on FACEBOOK”.  This requires your help.

We started the Fan page on May 7th with the goal to hit 200 FANZ by August.  On June 19th we hit 200 FANZ.  This is way faster then we thought possible and want to thank you all for making this happen!!! We are excited to see how fast we can continue this growth for all of us…

Facebook has given us a few ways to SHARE information/content (songz, videos, articles) with our friends very easily.  Really with the push of a button.

Couple ways you can HELP…

• The easiest way and many of you already do this, is to simply pressBy doing so, it attracts attention to the posting…we love your comments,  this is what drives us to keep going…!  If you Like a particular song or posting, say you Like it.  AND if you really like it HIT SHARE – it will simply post this with “what’s on your mind?”  to your profile.

Other ways are on the FAN Page…

• Directly under his profile picture you can “SUGGEST TO FRIENDS” – with this feature you can choose which of your friends you think would like B.YONEST and all of the remixes and new music, blog entries, videos and shinaningins…

• One more way is there is a Share button Badge on the left side about half way down.  A box will show up and you can say “what’s on your mind?”  This will just post to your profile.  SIMPLE.  It will look like this…

There might be other ways to accelerate the campaign as well that we dont know about, please let us know about them!

Passing out CD’s usually dies with one person (meaning we give you a CD, you listen to it in your car, take it home upload to mp3 player and then that CD usually dies with you, meaning it doesn’t get passed around)  Facebook gives us the ability to pass the music so fast!  It also lets us know which songs you like and not so much.

Record labels, investors and sponsors are looking for BUZZ on these social sites.  We feel B.YONEST has the TALENT and we have the content (songz, videos, blog entries) to create controversy and BUZZ.  We are looking to our FANZ to help….  We will continue to give you more and more songz.  200 and counting… We have a database of stuff to release.  B.YONEST has been super hard at work for last few years and it is only a matter of time before he becomes “FAMOUS on FACEBOOK”.
